Drive Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales growth as a certified defense sales consultant. Shape partner-nation requirements into compliant, priced solutions while shepherding USML licensing, end-use documentation, and LOA execution with DSCA and service implementing agencies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead FMS and DCS capture with partner-nation ministries of defense, armed forces, and embassies across aviation, rotary-wing, maritime, and tactical systems portfolios.
  • Translate Letters of Request into priced, compliant responses and support LOA development, amendments, case financial management, and closure.
  • Coordinate DSP-5, DSP-73, and Technical Assistance Agreement requirements with internal ITAR compliance and empowered officials.
  • Conduct FCPA and anti-corruption due diligence on international representatives, agents, and offset partners.
  • Maintain the FMS pipeline in the RFQ ledger with stage-gated forecasting, capture plans, and executive reporting.
  • Represent the firm at trade shows, country team engagements, and partner-nation delegation visits.
Qualifications
  • AECA / FMS certification or equivalent formal security cooperation training (e.g., DSCA FMS Case Management, DAU Security Cooperation).
  • 5+ years in FMS, DCS, international defense sales, or security cooperation with demonstrated $5M+ capture or program support.
  • Active Secret clearance with US person status required for ITAR-controlled work.
  • Working knowledge of ITAR (22 CFR 120-130), EAR, USML categories, and the FMS case lifecycle from LOR through LOA execution.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 40%.
Nice to have
  • Prior DSCA, service SAO, or security cooperation office experience.
  • Rotary-wing (UH-60 family), fighter sustainment, cargo airframe, or maritime systems program background.
  • Second language relevant to a key partner-nation market.
  • Existing international representative/agent network in priority defense markets.
